Supralift GmbH & Co. KG (hereafter referred to as "Supralift") sets great store by the protection of the data supplied by the platform users. The following principles determine how Supralift uses saves and protects this data. All Supralift employees are bound by these principles. An infringement can result in disciplinary action for the employees including dismissal. In the event of an infringement of these principles by other platform users Supralift reserves the right to exclude those users from any participation.

By registering in accordance with Supralift's (General Terms and Conditions) of Business users consent to the use of data they provide in accordance with the following principles.

If the user has any contact with Supralift e.g. when registering for the platform when registering for individual services or when enquiring about such services any data supplied by the user is only used for the following purposes:

  • to pass the data on to other users with whom the user has entered into a direct contract in accordance with Supralift's general terms and conditions or who are interested in the goods placed on the platform by the user;
  • user data regarding Supralift products and services and sending other messages;
  • checking the performance and functionality of the Supralift applications;
  • passing the data on to third parties in order to protect Supralift's rights or ownership and in emergencies if the physical security of the data provided is at risk.

Supralift will not sell the data to third parties or pass it on in any other way e.g. for the purposes of advertising directed at the user such as letter mailings e-mailings telephone campaigns etc.

All data collected is continually updated and is only saved in recognisable form in as far as this is necessary to meet the purposes mentioned above.

Supralift uses cookies. These are small text files that are placed on the user's computer. They save data and only provide support for the features on the Supralift platform. These cookies are not used to save or pass on data that the user did not provide Supralift with himself.

3. Security

All item data is encrypted with the bulkloading process using the widely accepted SSL standard.
Supralift has appropriate certification for this procedure.

Supralift is committed to taking all reasonable steps to protect the users' data from loss or third-party access. This applies both to access to the physical storage facilities and also to access via data connections. Supralift protects data against the latter possibility by means of firewalls and by issuing users with a password. In this respect Supralift points out that losing the password makes access to the data supplied by the user much harder and may even be impossible.

Despite all efforts Supralift cannot guarantee the security of the Supralift user data. Due to the nature of the Internet this applies in particular to external third-party access to data transferred online.

Supralift provides links to other web sites. Supralift cannot guarantee the security or type of use of the user data on the hyperlinked web sites.

4. Information

By sending an e-mail to users can find out at any time which of the data that they supplied or other data concerning them is being held by Supralift. This also includes information concerning the form the storage takes and its purpose.

5. Deletion

Users can revoke their consent to use their data in full or in part at any time by sending an e-mail to

Supralift however can continue to use or store the existing data if Supralift can prove that there are legitimate reasons for doing so. In particular these include contractual obligations between the user and Supralift such as carrying out auctions that have already begun or passing on information to the user's contractual partner following a successful auction. If the user insists on the deletion of data that is necessary for carrying out Supralift services in future particularly the Auction or Offer Price sales format Supralift can exclude the user from further use of the platform.

6. Usage of web analysis tools

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States .
