Used order pickers belong to warehouse equipment, are electrically powered and have a driver platform or driver seat. Depending on the lift height, a distinction is made between low-level order pickers (up to approx. 2 m), medium-level order pickers (approx. 6 m) and high-level order pickers (approx. 14 m).
A characteristic feature of order pickers is that the driver is raised to working height together with the forks and the goods in order to control the loading process. The driver can then manually load and unload the goods. There are also variants equipped with movable forks, similar to a reach truck. The ability to raise the driver is the key difference compared with pallet stackers.
