Negotiable Gradient

Characteristic value expressing the ability of an industrial truck to negotiate upward slopes.. The characteristic value is expressed in percent and represents a measure of the still permissible upward slope. The negotiable gradient is listed in the truck-specific datasheet for industrial trucks, namely as negotiable gradient for an operation of KB 30, i.e. a duration of 30 minutes and as "max. negotiable gradient" for KB 5, i.e. for short-term operation with a duration of 5 minutes. The data is further differentiated as to whether the upward slope is to be negotiated by the industrial truck with or without load.
