Rated Traction Force

Highest traction force of an unladen tractor. For combustion-engine drive with shift transmission the rated traction force is the highest traction force that an industrial truck can produce at a travel speed of at least 10 % of its rated speed. The rated traction force is to be added by the indication of the time during which uninterrupted tractor operation at rated traction force is permitted. The rated traction force for electric drive or combustion-engine drive with hydraulic torque converter is based on the output per hour of the drive motor or converter transmission. It represents the traction force of the unladen towing industrial truck corresponding to the output per hour.
