Electric forklifts with lithium-ion traction batteries, known as lithium-ion forklifts, are particularly efficient and long-lasting. With them, this former disadvantage is eliminated entirely.

In terms of costs, energy consumption can be significantly reduced in models with brake energy recovery. Electric forklift trucks also require less maintenance and are less prone to repairs than vehicles with combustion engines.
