Pulse frequency and pulse duration determine travel and lifting speed via the motor speed. In contrast to resistive switch circuits the pulse control systems operate almost free of loss and wear and allow smooth travel start even under load. The advantage over conventional resistive switch circuits is better utilisation of the battery capacity and the improved possibilities of positioning the truck.
