Daewoo forklifts is a Korean manufacturer formed in 1976 from the merger of Hankoo Machine industrial Company and Chosen Machine Works. The company entered the European market in the 1980s, when Daewoo launched forklift sales in England and Belgium. Daewoo was taken over by Doosan in 2005.
