Tyre Tread

Contact surface of tyre and travel ground. The almost rectangular tyre tread depends on the size of the load per wheel, the tyre type, the construction type and shape of the tyre, as well as on the condition of the travel ground. The pressure resulting between tyre and road surface is the wheel pressure. Pneumatic tyres and super cushion tyres are usually treaded.
