Characteristic value of the logistical function "transporting", which quantifies the transport travels per time unit between a source and a destination. Since material flow matrices often do not exist in industrial practice, the average transport frequency is used for the truck quantity calculation. It is determined by the total of the transport relations of the analysed area and is mostly estimated by company-internal specialists based on their experience.
