Torque Converter
The Torque Converter is the main component of the automatic transmission
in forklift. The device controls power distribution between the motor and the gearbox via
oil pressure.
The most important components of the Torque Converter are:
- • input turbine - pump (primary wheel)
- • power turbine (secondary wheel)
- • free-wheeling fly wheel (thrust reversing or reaction wheel)
