Three Wheel Forklift

Three wheel forklifts - usually electric counterbalanced vehicles with a wheel geometry of a triangle. The rear axle is fitted with a single or dual wheel and also serves as the steer axle. The drive or traction is usually initiated via the front wheels. The steered rear wheel can turn up to 90 degrees in either direction making the vehicle extremely manoeuvrable. This tight turning radius sets it apart from its four wheel cousins with similar vehicle dimensions.
