Side Seat

Arrangement of the driver's position in industrial trucks at right angle to the main travel direction. When travelling forward and backward only slight movement of the head is necessary to have a good view of the travel area. In contrast to the front seat the side-seat arrangement results in lower physical strain when working in narrow aisles or with a high proportion of manoeuvring operations. The side seat is implemented e.g. in reach trucks, high-rise lift trucks as well as in pallet trucks.
