Side handling

Side Handling

Loading and unloading via the long side of transporting devices from the ground or via ramps. Handling can be manual, mechanical, or automatic. If side handling is executed from the ground and wheel-supported lift truck are used, it must be observed that the transporting devices can be driven under. Side handling can be combined with rear handling, e.g. at a dock ramp.
