Roll-On Container

Roller pallet that has been transformed into a container by means of a wide meshed or fine-mesh steel grid, mostly on two sides, sometimes on three sides. They are used as order-picking containers at wholesalers and for compiling the picking orders, and the delivery to the retailers respectively to the subsidiaries. The basic dimensions are usually adapted to the payload areas of the lorries. For empty transport the steel-grid walls can be folded down or disassembled to save space.
