Product Liability
Forklift Trucks are subject to Product Liability.
The liability covers products sold after the 1st of August 1988.
Under the Product Liability the following persons are responsible:
- • manufacturer of the end product
- • manufacturer of sub component
- • the importer
- • the local distributor
- • possible sub-dealer
Also liable are such businesses which sell the equipment under their own brand name and thereby hiding the name of the actual manufacturer.
