Operator Cabin
The drivers or operators cab encloses the operators position and all necessary instrumentation
required for the safe operation of the vehicle. Forklift trucks with an operators
compartment and lift height over 1800 mm require a cabin. This area protects against
injury from falling objects as well as provide a safe zone in the unlikely event of an
accident where the vehicle is upended.
Operator cabin may contain:
