Multi-Way Lift Truck

Lift truck with high manoeuvrability, where different steering condition can be pre-selected via the operating keyboard: forward or reverse, parallel or transverse to the load, diagonally to the left or diagonally to the right as well as turning in very confined space. Drive wheel and both load wheels are each steered via separately controlled steering motors. A steering computer co-ordinates the individual steering movements. While the use of four-way lift trucks is selectively limited to long loads, multi-way lift trucks can also be used for moving material, containers, and pallets in confined space because of their high manoeuvrability.
