Load Pick-Up
Function in the sequence of motions of a work cycle. It includes the load transfer
from a industrial conveyor device and depends on load devices, load-carrying units, etc.
To be distinguished in industrial trucks are lengthwise pick-up and crosswise pick-up.
Forklift Trucks can pick-up loads from either side as long as the pallet or load support has
provisions for it.
• Pick-Up lengthwise
- forklift truck picks-up load by the narrow side
• Pick-Up across
- forklift truck picks-up load by the wide side
