Load centre
Load Centre
The Load Centre in lift trucks specifies the distance
between the heel of the fork and the centre of the load. With the load centre
determined, the driver of the lift truck can read from a diagram what the actual capacity
of the truck is. The diagram showing the various load centres with the resulting
capacities is either fastened to the mast of the lift truck or can be found near the
drivers seat.
