Inching pedal
Inching Pedal
In forklift trucks with combustion engine and hydrodynamic torque converter the inching pedal is combined with the brake pedal and located in automobile fashion near the accelerator pedal. It allows travelling at creeping-speed through inching. With the partially pressed down inching respectively brake pedal precise manoeuvring at creeping-speed is possible at full motor speed, while simultaneously lifting a load very quickly. When the pedal is pressed down further, braking occurs.
