High rack lift truck
High Rack Lift Truck
Lift truck that is capable of stacking and retrieving operations without changing the direction of travel, also called two-side or lateral and front stacking truck. High rack lift trucks are used for stacking operation in warehouses up to a stacking height of 14 m. Load-carrying units are telescopic forks, C-shaped traverse swivel forks, and swivel/traverse forks. In rack aisles high rack lift trucks are guided by guidance lines. Guidance line guiding can be implemented as forced steering, e. g. inductive guidance, or forced guidance, e. g. mechanical or rail guidance. High rack lift trucks are distinguished in man-down versions and man-up version.
