Handling of Loads

Function in company-internal logistics with the objective of loading and unloading transport devices. In this context, handling in company-internal logistics is the interface between the external flow of goods and the company-internal flow of material. As a function of company-internal logistics, handling is the change from a transport device to a company-internal conveying device and vice versa. In the logistics process, handling can be associated with the change from one transport device to another.
