Gradient

Collective term for upward and downward slopes. For the operation of industrial trucks on gradients it must be observed that negotiating curves or making U-turns is prohibited. When travelling on gradients the load is to be carried independently from the travel direction towards the upward slope at all times, i.e. in direction of the highest point of the gradient.
