Exhaust
Exhaust
Engine exhaust contains gases that are considered hazardous to your health. These gases are created by Internal Combustion Engines:
- • Gases (e.g. carbonmonoxide, nitrogen, carbon dioxide)
- • Vapor (e.g. what happens to gas and fuel liquids which change physical state)
- • Soot (e.g. engine exhaust - particles small enough to be suspended in air)
The maximum allowable concentration of exhaust in the work place environment is regulated and evaluated on a (MAK) scale.
