Device for cleaning the exhaust fumes of industrial trucks that are driven by combustion engines. It eliminates soot particles in the exhaust fumes as well as other contaminants and reduces the odour load, extinguishes sparks, and can enable after-burning of carbon monoxide. For diesel engine driven trucks dry exhaust purifiers respectively catalytic converters or wet exhaust purifiers with water pre-treatment resp. exhaust gas washers. Wet exhaust purifiers require maintenance, e.g. daily change of the water bath.
