Dead Man's Switch

Foot-operated switch in the foot space of stand-on trucks or in industrial trucks with elevatable operating platform. When the foot presses down the dead man's switch the dead man's brake - which is acting as immobilising brake - is released. When the foot releases the dead man's switch and no longer presses the switch, automatic braking occurs.
