DIS System

Drive-in Satellite System. Compact storage system consisting of a drive-in rack equipped with drive tracks and a carrier truck with detachable satellites. The freely moveable reach truck is positioned in front of the selected channel and the satellite is set down onto the track. After detaching from the carrier truck the channel truck, driven by its own electric motor, drives automatically into the channel. The power supply of the motor is ensured via a cable connection to the truck battery. The lift truck is equipped with a safety system so that uncontrolled lowering of the mast or running off is not possible.
