Battery Operation

Energy supply for industrial truck drives via battery current. To be distinguished are the pure battery operation and the switch operation which allows the switchover to another drive type. Construction types of switch operation are the hybrid drive as well as the combined use of mains and battery current. For example, a high rack lift truck can be supplied with current from mains while operating in the rack aisle and from the battery while operating outside the aisle in the staging (end-aisle) area.
