Overhead Guard

The Overhead Guard is a special construction that protects the operator of the vehicle from falling objects. Construction must be substantial enough to protect the operator according to the criteria set forth by the individual countries local manufacturing and safety organisations. The requirements set forth by the FEM, ITA, BITA,OSHA, ANSI, DIN, ISO, UVV and others. Usually required for forklift trucks, if the loads are elevated higher than 1800 mm.
